چکیده

The Monte Carlo program, PYBBWH, is an implementation of the associated production of a charged Higgs and a W boson from bb̄ fusion in a general TwoHiggs-Doublet model for both CP-conserving and CP-violating couplings. It is implemented as a external process to Pythia 6. The code can be downloaded from http://www.isv.uu.se/thep/MC/pybbwh. 1 Associated H and W boson production The program, PYBBWH, is an implementation of the production of a charged Higgs boson, H, in association with a W boson. The code was developed for the research presented in [1] where details on the theory and numerical results are presented. This program is written for a general Two-Higgs-Doublet model type II. The dominant production mode at tree level occurs is via bb̄ fusion and at one-loop-level via gluon fusion. This program implements the leading order bb̄ fusion part and the relevant Feynman diagrams are given in figure 1. By only including bb̄ fusion this program is most suited for intermediate H masses and large tanβ. In a general type II 2HDM the couplings relevant for this production can be specified via the Higgs mixing matrix Oji in the following way gHiH−W+ = g ∗ HiHW = O2i cos β − O1i sin β + iO3i , gHib̄b = O1i + iO3i sin β . (1) In a real 2HDM were Hi = {h , H, A} the mixing matrix has the simple form

Triplet Higgs boson at hadron colliders

The novel feature of a Higgs-triplet representation is a nonzero tree-level coupling of HWZ, which is absent in all Higgs-doublet models. We study the associated production of a singly-charged Higgs boson of the Higgs-triplet representation with a W or Z boson at hadron colliders, followed by the H → WZ decay. We find that the 2l+ 4j final state gives an interesting level of signal with a negli...

Charged Higgs Production in Association with W Boson

It is important to explore the Higgs sector in order to identify the model beyond the standard model. We study the charged Higgs production in the γγ mode of a linear collider (LC) with 1000 GeV center of mass energy. We show that the cross sections for the γγ → H±W∓ processes can be significantly enhanced in the two Higgs doublet model (THDM). The cross section can reach 0.1 − 100 fb which is ...

CP violation in associated production of a charged Higgs boson and a top quark at the LHC

We study effects of CP violation in an associated production of a charged Higgs boson and a top quark at the LHC: pp → tH± + X . We calculate the CP violating asymmetry between the total cross section for H+ and H− production at next-to-leading order in the MSSM, and perform a detailed numerical analysis. In the production only the asymmetry is of the order of 20%. The asymmetry in the producti...

W±H∓ Associated Production at the Large Hadron Collider

We study the production of a charged Higgs boson in association with a W boson at the CERN Large Hadron Collider in the context of the minimal supersymmetric extension of the standard model. This production mechanism is particularly promising if the charged Higgs boson is too heavy to be generated by top-quark decay. We compare the contributions due to bb̄ annihilation at the tree level and gg f...
